Taylor Ramsey - Founder

Born and raised in Austin, Taylor began his construction career in 2009 where he worked beside other builders in the area in a sales and marketing position. Despite the economic struggles of the time, Taylor was able to lead a team of estimators to success and helped create innovative solutions to provide customers with affordable services. In 2015 Taylor Launched his own company Ramsey Contracting LLC and began serving the Austin area with a focus on remodeling and new construction.

Drew Mahnke - Project Superindentent

Drew is a born and raised Texan. He is from San Antonio and recently transplanted to Austin. He attended Texas A&M University and bleeds maroon. He has worked as a superintendent, project manager, and estimator, in a number of different fields including fully custom pools, commercial construction, and fully custom homes. He loves the critical thinking and problem solving that comes with being a project superintendent. Most importantly, he loves seeing customers happy with a home that they can share memories with their families for years to come. He chose to join the Ramsey Contracting LLC team because of their strong values, attention to detail, and family centered atmosphere. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, watching college football, fishing, and visiting breweries and distilleries. 

Foster Nelson - Project Superindentent

Foster is a true Texan at heart. With a diverse background in various construction fields, he leads projects with expertise and a warm, friendly demeanor. From remodeling to custom home builds Foster's versatile skills shine through. His leadership ensures success while building strong relationships with everyone involved. We are privileged to have Foster, whose extensive experience, and genuine charm make him an invaluable project superintendent, ensuring your ideas are crafted with excellence and a smile.

Spencer White - Account Executive

Spencer, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, was raised in South Austin and has been immersed in the construction industry from a young age, learning from his father. Spencer began his professional career as a GM at Rent-E-Quip, where he made valuable contacts and gained experience renting construction equipment. He then moved on to working in New Mexico, where he built oil and gas facilities.

Eventually, Spencer started his own business and spent several years building and renovating bars, restaurants, and other commercial and residential projects throughout the Austin area.

As a member of the Ramsey Contracting LLC team, Spencer's primary focus is finding projects that align with the company's expertise and capabilities. He also serves as the point of contact for clients, ensuring that their questions are answered promptly. With his extensive experience and dedication to quality work, Spencer is an asset to any construction project he is a part of.

Seth Talkington - Marketing Coordinator

Seth is an Austin native with a background in customer relations and billing. As a vital member of our team he does everything from back-end communications to onsite photography. If there was ever an all time employee of the month award, it would hands down go to Seth. He brings a kind spirit, a sense of urgency, and an unmatched work ethic, to our company.

Steve Hutson - IT/Operations Manager

Steve is a valuable member of our team, leveraging his diverse skills and background to ensure smooth operations. He began his professional journey as a graphic designer, and quickly expanded his skillset to include website design and development. He utilized these skills to market and promote non-profits, and later branched out to work with pharmaceutical and healthcare companies.

Steve advanced his career and continued his growth by gaining expertise in application development and project management, developing invaluable experience that enabled him to successfully lead operations and develop applications for a small startup. As of today, he plays a critical role in ensuring the ongoing growth and efficiency of our team. Steve is entrusted with the responsibility of developing and implementing operational procedures, as well as overseeing the applications that seamlessly manage client projects from start to finish.
